2025
Welcome to Cabaret - Wevkum !
Over the previous 25 seasons, the cabaret festival has evolved from a performance festival to a teaching and training festival. We’ve expanded from three days to seven days with the emphasis on Master Classes, Workshops and networking to start the week. As we progress with 30-minute Spotlight Shows to 60-minute solo shows, we are offering the students examples of their progression into the world of ‘cabaret’.
The festival concludes beginning with a diversity rich Variety show on Friday followed by the much anticipated star headliner show on Saturday night. Sunday hosts the popular brunch event which is a gathering of sponsors, VIP Pass holders, friends, fans and family as our Master Class graduates present their song with full tech, a live Trio, a Master of Ceremonies and that precious commodity a LIVE AUDIENCE !
Throughout the week, a magical comradery accursed – coaches, musical directors, professional performer and students become a community of peers. Our goal is to nourish the returning professional, the evolving performer and the beginning performer into a community that lasts well beyond the festival.
